Meetings in Dublin 8

News & Blog

Dublin 8 is a great place for all sorts of meetings, planned or otherwise. There’s fascination to be found wherever you wander. When it comes to business meetings/workshops, however, it’s also increasingly a great neighborhood in which to take your team off the beaten track and onto the same page. There are lots of options to challenge the well-worn conference circuit with professional set-ups in truly stimulating surroundings. You’ll find some great examples below…

THE MASONRY (by Iconic Offices) on Thomas Street, housed in an old union headquarters, is a refurbished historic property in the heart of the Liberties, dating back to c.1780. It offers a range of stylish, customisable meeting rooms for small to medium-sized gatherings. Common areas feature original art and murals.

WOOD QUAY VENUE is a spectacular state-of-the-art conference/ meeting/ exhibition/ performance facility featuring a stretch of the original Hiberno Norse (Viking) City Wall dating from 1100 AD. Not something that your closest WeWork can boast.

THE GUINNESS ENTERPRISE CENTRE, which houses a number of business/tech incubators also features a number of high-spec meeting spaces (of varying sizes) right next to The Guinness Storehouse. A post-work pint in the Gravity Bar is quite the carrot to dangle!

FUMBALLY STABLES is the event space of the ever-popular Fumbally Café, a casual restaurant known for its seasonal and sustainable ethos. Perfect for workshops and tech-free sessions with an ethical or environmentally conscious focus.

THE DIGITAL HUB boasts a variety of result-focused spaces with all the spec you’d expect from a digital entrepreneur-centric hub. You’ll also find an historically important windmill and pear tree on the grounds and (great) Container Coffee in the car park.
