What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out is at 12.00. If you would like to enquire about early check-in or late check-out, please contact us at +353 1 554 2900

What is the cancellation policy?

Book with peace of mind at The Chancery Hotel. We understand that at the moment more than ever plans can be impacted last minute, so we offer free cancellation 24 hours prior to arrival.

Do you have free Wi-Fi?

Yes, we have free Wi-Fi in all areas of the hotel. Yes, we have fast 300MB bandwidth WIFI, complimentary to the guests of the hotel. Please read all about our Health and Safety measures to ensure the safety of our guests and team.

What are you doing to keep guests safe?

The Chancery is located in a safe area of Dublin city with 24 hour security in the hotel, however like in any major city we always recommend guests to remain vigilant when out and about.

Do I need my credit card details with me on check-in?

Yes, you do. For all guests checking in at The Chancery Hotel, we require an in-person credit card where we will take a pre-authorisation to the value of your stay along with a small supplement to cover incidentals and to allow for charging to your room during your stay.

Is there a Gym?

Yes, we have a gym on-site in the hotel and is open 24 hours.

Are there treatment rooms?

Yes, we have a Wellness area that will offer a relaxation area with a couple of treatment rooms.

Does the hotel have different bedrooms?

The hotel has 150 bedrooms with a selection of King, double and twin and a variety of different room styles sizes and views. Check out our room page on the website for photos and more details.

Getting to The Chancery Hotel

Where is The Chancery located?

The Chancery is located five minutes from Grafton Street and Stephens Green in Dublin City Centre. Check out our location page to see the best options to get to the hotel.

Can I be dropped off?

Yes, there is a drop-off area outside the hotel. Our main entrance is on Ship Street.

Where can I park?

The Chancery Hotel offers valet service; for additional information and reservations, please contact reception@thechancery.ie.

The hotel has an arrangement with a number of car parks within a five-minute walk from the hotel with a discounted rate for overnight parking. Check out our location page for details and directions.

Can you store my bags and things?

We’re always more than happy to store luggage free of charge during your stay at the Chancery, and you’re welcome to leave your bags with us on the day you check-in or check-out.

Can I hire a bike?

Yes. There are some self service bike options available close to the hotel. The hotel team will be delight to assist if you are looking for other options.

How do I get from the Airport?

The hotel is located 9.5 km from Dublin Airport. Check out our location page for the different transport options available from taxi, air coach and bus services.

Do you have family rooms?

The hotel rooms are king, double or twin beds. Contact reservations and they will be able to allocate you rooms close by or check out our sister hotel The Grafton which has a number of family and sharing rooms.

Do you have wheelchair-accessible rooms?

Yes, we have Accessible Rooms available. Please contact the hotel if you have any special requests.

Is there a hair dryer in the room?

Yes! All of our rooms have a hair dryer for all your primping and preening needs.

Is there an iron in the room?

Yes! We have iron and ironing boards in all our bedrooms. We also have laundry service available, check out our guest directory for costs and details.

Is there room service?

You betcha. You’ll find menus on your TV in our guest’s directory. Hit us up whenever you’re feeling lazy. We offer a limited room service from 11 pm to 7 am.

How do I book a table in the restaurant?

You can book via our online booking tool on our dining page. We recommend booking dinner as it can get busy at certain times.

Do you have cots?

Yes, we have cots available. Please contact reservations to make arrangements for a cot.

What time is breakfast?

Breakfast is available from 7 am to 10 am Monday to Friday and from 7am to 10.30 am Saturday and Sunday.

Do you have a restaurant?

Yes, we have food available all day in the Bar and Coffee Dock and for more formal but still casual dining in The Restaurant.

Are you taking dining bookings from non-residents?

Yes, we are delighted to welcome non-residents to lunch or dinner or our all-day offering in the lunch and coffee dock.

Until what time is the restaurant open?

The Restaurant last orders are at 9.30 pm.

Do you have meeting rooms?

Yes, we have a board room The Chancery suit will take up to 16 people in a boardroom set up.

Do you do events?

We can arrange private parties and events in the restaurant for 65 guests or the Chancery suite for 16-20 guests.
